The Neos team has established regular technical discussions starting from June 4th. For the first technical discussion the team had four major topics on the agenda.
The Extbase Team needs your help again. Based on the results of the workspaces codesprint in Frankfurt we aim to implement the patches needed in Extbase. For the time being this means the reading part of things.
In the rhythm of our half-yearly release-cycle the month of April ended with the release of TYPO3 CMS 6.1. TYPO3 got accepted as a project in Google Summer of Code, the Developer Days and European TYPO3 conference were announced and there were 2 code sprints.
On the last two days of May the North American TYPO3 conference took place in the Golden Gate Club in San Francisco. It was a small event with around 90 TYPO3 enthusiasts from all over the world. The weather was great, the food was awesome, the presentations were inspiring and the people gave warm fuzzy community feelings.

From May 10th to May 12th about 160 TYPO3 enthusiasts from all parts of the country gathered in Germany's capital for the 3rd TYPO3camp Berlin.
